I was so excited when Ally & Chase Davidson reached out for us to photograph their sweet little River this year! We celebrated her first year around the sun on the ground of Hotel Roanoke, one of our favorite spots in the heart of downtown. The last time I "met" River, she was still safe and cozy in her mama's belly for their maternity session on the parkway. It was so much fun to meet this little human in person at last - and she was an absolute joy to photograph! She kept Mel & me laughing and smiling with her adorable interactions with her parents, her birthday Bubblecake cupcakes, and cutest little tutu and headbands! We still can't get over these precious smiles, and were so happy to spend some time with this sweet family and capture these moments. Happy 1st Birthday, River!! Here's to many more years of bubblecakes and smiles!
